HERE
Before Dad’s second brain surgery, the family gathered in the dining room, as we do. Mom and Dad shared about a movie they had recently watched, called HERE. The unique thing about the movie is that even though the story spans 100 years, it takes place all within one room.
In my parents' 100 year old dining room, other people and moments have come before us, but for the last 30 years or so, the Winters family has gathered here. I've made hundreds of photos in this room, not as a 'project', but just documenting family stuff. I put together a book of these photographs to give to the family members that gather here in this room. December 2024.
